heartlandguide.sg lists businesses by neighbourhood. Here is how a business gets onto a page and how lists are ordered.
Where does the information come from?
From the business’s own website and public sources we have opened, such as government registers. Each page shows when it was last checked.
How are lists ordered?
For everyday services we rank businesses, and each list says what it was ranked on, for example published prices and warranty, range of services, opening hours, years in business or how close the business is to the MRT. For services that come to you, such as aircon servicing, we rank on coverage and terms rather than office location.
Clinics, dental practices and law firms are listed by distance from the nearest MRT station or alphabetically, and never ranked.
Are any listed businesses clients?
Some listed businesses may be clients of this site’s publisher, and every list where that applies says so.
Can a business ask to be listed?
Yes. Suggest a business and we will check it against public information before listing it.
