Kaki Bukit MRT station (DT28) on the Downtown Line is on Kaki Bukit Avenue 1, the same road as HomeShake and one of Inspired Homes’ two addresses. Inspired Homes lists two Kaki Bukit addresses and does not say which is its office, so call ahead to confirm where to meet.

A few practical checks help. Search the contractor’s company name on HDB’s website before paying a deposit. Ask for a site measurement before the final quote, because showroom estimates can change once walls and floors are inspected. Get the scope, materials and brand names written into the quote. Agree a payment schedule tied to completed stages: Inspired Homes, for example, says it uses a progress-payment schedule. For landed homes, ask who handles approvals; Inspired Homes says its service runs from design and approvals through to furnishing.
